Dustin began his journey in the cannabis industry at a young age. Growing up in California's Bay Area, he was instilled with the liberal values of the West Coast from an early age. After college, his only choice was between a soulless Silicon Valley desk job or riding the green wave of the '69 hippies. But this decision was suddenly swept from his mind when the initially gentle tide of cannabis in California developed into a veritable tsunami with the enactment of Proposition 215.

With his fresh degree under his belt and life ahead of him, Dustin opened the door to fully pursue his passion for cannabis. The next 20 years took him to the golden hills of Northern California, where he explored, cultivated, and became familiar with many of the classic California strains of the late 1990s and early 2000s. This period was characterized by a spirit of experimentation and culminated in a deep connection with California cannabis culture. And Dustin? He became a walking weed Wikipedia.
From the golden hills of California to the wide fields of Oregon
In 2018, he moved to southern Oregon to finally realize his childhood dream: his own cannabis farm. At the time, all he saw was rolling eyes and a tired smile. But he never stopped dreaming.
Today, at the thought of it, he simply pushes his straw hat back on his sun-baked neck and, with a big grin on his face, throws a few barrels of moonshine onto the back of his pickup truck. Happiness is, after all, just a matter of attitude.
And Dustin has found happiness in love with Mary-Jane. For many decades, his entire world has revolved around this green beauty. Now he works with a variety of renowned old and promising new genetics and produces seeds for the global market, including highly potent THC varieties, fast-flowering autos, and CBD/CBG strains. But Dustin is more than just a breeder; he embodies the spirit of a true farmer. On his Oregon farm, surrounded by chickens, sheep, and alpacas and the rugged beauty of the landscape, he devotes himself with dedication to breeding and cultivating cannabis. His decades of experience in leading Californian seed banks have made him a true master of his craft.
