Cultivation & Harvest

College Mints grows vigorously and aims for height. The plant can mutate into a true bush outdoors – sufficient space and air circulation are essential. Indoors, it responds well to LST and ScrOG to tame its height growth. With a flowering time of approximately 9–10 weeks, it's in the moderate range. The extra patience pays off: College Mints rewards you with abundant yields. It's one of the most productive strains in the Gushmints Collection. Its hybrid cannabis seeds are robust and forgiving even of minor mistakes, making it attractive for home growers. Good nutrient management is crucial, as this plant has a healthy appetite (similar to the one you might develop after a few tokes). Outdoors, it's recommended to start the cannabis seeds between April and June – this way, you can take advantage of the entire growing season and reap a bountiful harvest in October. In short: College Mints is easy to care for and suitable for beginners, but still so exotic that even experienced growers rave about it.

Optics & Size

College Mints' buds are covered in glittering trichomes and look as if they were rolled in sugar. Deep olive green tones dominate, interspersed with dark purple leaves – a legacy of Gush Mints' Cookie genetics. In between, countless thin orange hairs shine, giving the flowers a wild-haired look. The buds grow large and conical, some fluffy, some dense – imagine small pine cones studded with blue and purple crystals. The plant itself usually reaches around 120 cm indoors, but can grow significantly larger outdoors. Its structure combines the best of sativa and indica: strong lateral branching, yet still sufficient spacing between the nodes.
